2 enhancement requests - 2 minor glitches

1. Before the most recent updates the ATTRIBUTES WERE MUCH better with a defined separation between them. The attribute was left justified and the value was right justified. I would like to see this back to where it was prior to the latest 2 upgrades.

2. I would REALLY like to have the ‘COD/PREPAID’ to be available in 3 different choices ‘COD’, DEPOSIT/COD, or PREPAID on the terms line of the order acknowledgement we give the customer. As the administrator and accounts person I understand the current configuration, but this would help my sales staff when they generate an order.

3. I also have had the program lock up occasionally when 2 things happen:
a.) Spell check occasionally locks up the program
b.) when I sometimes shortcut key "control A' (select all) in the personalization text box to copy or paste the current engraving copy on the maintain order line item, it will lock up the program and if it is a new order when it locks up - all is lost

Do you have an example of this? if so, please e-mail to us so we can review where this justification used to occur but is no longer occuring

Payment terms are pulled from the "Payment Terms" Table. COD/PREPAID appears for a payment terms whereby the customer does not have payment terms. COD/PREPAID vs. DEPOSIT/COD Vs PREPAID all means the same thing:

A) If its COD/PREPAID, deposits are still allowed on the order, and the order must be Paid when Picked up (i.e. COD) or it can be PREPAID
B) DEPOSIT/COD still means the same, since ALL orders, including direct bill orders can have a deposit applied to them, and since there is no limit on how much of a deposit can be applied, if they put a full deposit, then it is PREPAID also

It sounds like your trying to have a counter order utilize behaviors that aren't applicable to a counter/cash sale. The whole concept of a counter order is that it must be paid before product delivered. Payments Terms are a function of billing, not COD. Cash on Delivery. If the customer wishes to place a deposit on the order, simply allow them and collect their money, but having a deposit or payment on the order doesn't negate they must still pay the balance before delivery of product.

Its like walking into a department store or grocery store. Its all prepaid. I cannot walk out the store with merchandise until the cashier rings up the sale and collects money. Its a COD transaction. Payment Terms simply do not apply to a COD transaction as its a given.

The only reason COD/PREPAID appears is out of a courtesy and happens when the order is NOT being direct billed, thus it is always going to be COD (the grocery store or department store scenario)

To collect deposits and force collection of deposits, this can be setup in your system setup.

This is a known issue, but is an issue with Microsoft Access, not BizWizard Order Manager. As soon as Microsoft issue a bug fix for the Shortcut keys and shortcut bars to correct this, then it will fix itself. But since the clipboard operations (CTRL+A, CTRL+X, CTRL+C and CTRL+V) are specific to the clipboard communications from Access to the clipboard, there isn't anything we can do to correct this.

Do you have specific fields that lock you up when you spell check in those fields? Remember, your cursor must be blinking inside the field you wish to spellcheck as the field that gets spell checked is determined by where the cursor is at
