is it possible to reset the Product Number?

Some of our part numbers have gotten really long due to repeated inserting of characters to randomize the Product Number. I think it happened on accident, playing around with a few pricing updates and each time putting data in the field for Product Number Adjustment. Before long we had some 15-digit part numbers. Is it possible to reset the part numbers back down to just the supplier part number using a Bulk Product Adjustment?

If there is a repeated pattern in the product #, you can use bulk product adjustment to scan/replace the consistent pattern and scan for it and replace it with nothing
