Default View Products per Page: 20 or All?

When a user is on the site, the default view for products is 20, with choices of 20, 36, 52, 72 or ALL Products Per Page. Is there a way for us to change the default to ALL Products per page instead of 20?

The Default is alwasy set to the lowest number. The higher the number goes, the more taxing it is on your server account. The more taxing it is on your server account, the more it will appear your site is slow.

Building a house is not just ONE piece of wood. It is hundreds of pieces of wood, pipes, wires, awnings, paint colors, roofing tiles, etc etc. The End result is a beautiful house when all the pieces are put together. A 1500sq ft house can be built faster than a 4500 sq ft house because it has less components to assemble together into the finished home.

Building a web page is the same. A Single web page consists of many components, javascript files, css files, html files, image files, etc etc. a 20 Image page will go together quicker (1500 sq ft house) than a 72 image page (4500 sq ft house).

This is why the default number of products shown is not a value you can set.
