A Total at the bottom of what screen or report? The order total is displayed at the bottom of each order. So please be more specific on where you are missing an order total and if you can describe the benefit of that order total, that will help as well.
On the product record. When looking at the Kit Components tab of a product record, it shows the prices of each individual default kit item but no total.
Products do not price orders. The price of the order line item will be dependent upon what items they choose from the kits at order time. The total of the line item when placing an order is calculated since this is the only place it effects any financials. A Total of Kit component "DEFAULTS" when entering a product doesn't effect any financials. Can you explain how having a total of kit components at this point would be beneficial since the actual product price will or can be different based upon what is actually chosen at order time.
