These are the release notes for version 1.1.3 through 1.1.8:

1) Corrected some problems during import of Products whereby Categories were being added multiple times if you chose to add categories in the import file

2) Added some performance enhancements features throughout ShopKart with image processing to make images perform better

3) Added 50 new Free skins, named the Marble Skin Series, to the Full version of ShopKart. ShopKart Lite is limited to the original 50 Classic Skins only.

4) Added some performance enhancing features to increase the speed of Queries when looking up products from the Products Screen.

5) Correct Some Supplier Product Numbers on Various suppliers to ensure your ShopKart catalog will match up and link up to the Master Catalog for the new Catalog import function that was added in this release

6) Added new feature to allow you to sync your shopkart catalogs up with the Master Catalog. The Master Catalog data is what NetSoft Studio keeps up to date when suppliers provide updates to their catalogs. The New Sync features allows you to update your ShopKart catalog data to do the following:

  1. Remove any discontinued products from your ShopKart Catalog that are no longer in the Master Catalog
  2. Add any new products that the supplier may now be offering (and has provided those new products to NetSoft Studio) to your ShopKart catalog
  3. Update various product fields (you may pick and choose which products fields to update) from the Master Catalog data.
  4. Update and/or Add any new images, 360 Degree Flash Files, or PDF Files from the Master Catalog Data
To get to the New Sync Features, simply login to your shopkart and click on Suppliers. Next to the supplier you wish to update, click the new Green Icon that is between the Edit and Delete Icon. This will take you to the update screen.

Select the various options to update your catalog. PAY CAREFUL ATTENTION TO WHICH CATALOG YOU ARE SYNCING WITH ON THE MASTER CATALOG SERVER. This is very important that you select the correct catalog.

To add a Supplier to your ShopKart Site that is currently not there. Follow these steps:

First. Create a New Supplier and give that supplier a name.
Second. Sync that newly creating supplier to the Master Catalog and under the New Products Section, be sure you request to import new products.

When importing new products ALL Products will initially be set to InActive status and have a $0.00 Retail Price. In addition, if you sync to master catalog categories, ShopKart will attempt to categorize the newly imported products into matching categories on your shopkart site. If for some reason there is not a match, then ShopKart will "Create" a new category using the Master Catalog Category data and then will set that Category to "InActive"
