    Default Saving Bulk Pricing Percentages

It would be nice to be able to set up and save default information for Bulk Pricing.

My markup percentage gets lower as the cost of an item gets higher. I have 31 levels of markup based on the cost range of a product. Whenever I have to do a bulk pricing update it takes a large amount of time to re-enter the information into the Product Detail Selection/Set Criteria table. It would be nice to be able to save that information as a default or be able to import it so I wouldn't have to re-enter it each time.

    Thanks!

David, I agree, in fact, I have been talking with NetSoft on this and know it will be in the works to have it save a pricing screen. The debate was where to save a pricing schedule, whether it be in the product type, i.e. acrylic, crystal, trophy.... or in the bulk pricing update. After thinking the process through, it will probably be in the bulk pricing update area that you will be able to save pricing modules. The reason for the debate was for future enhancements that are just being released or being developed. For example, the newly release supplier update feature that allows you to update product information by supplier still requires you to update your retail pricing based on the new product cost price that may have changed when a supplier updates their product cost in the shopkart master catalog. Currently you would have to run a bulk product pricing for products that have changed in product cost or newly added items. Eventually the goal is to automate that and hence the reason for the debate over which way to save pricing structures and such. I KNOW IT IS COMING, JUST NOT SURE WHEN.

Getting on the list is the first step. I'm glad this has already been discussed. NetSoft is ahead of the game.
