Password protected

I notice there is an option to make the store "password protected", along with a spot to type in a name and password. However, it doesn't seem to do anything and I notice that the feature is listed as a "future enhancement" in the User Guide.

What will this enhancement do and is it scheduled to be implemented soon?

When setting up personalized sites for different customers, it would be extremely helpful to password protect the whole store - and not just ordering, but viewing as well. Otherwise, if you have a large client with a special program it would be plain to the world what that program entails when that information should clearly not be broadcast to anyone who happens by the site.

No one has requested to have this feature implemented as of yet, thus it has been a low priority on the development list. If you plan to use this feature we can re-prioritize it. Simply e-mail to our tech support team that you have a need for password protected stores so they can have it moved up in the development list.
