Deleting an order
What is the reason behind or what am I doing wrong here. We are just getting started with BizWizard for production. 8/1 was my Go Live date. We have been working on entering customer data and Vendor data up until now, and I actually did play with creating a couple orders. But now I want to delete those orders since they were just practice for me. With adequate permission, I would like to be able to delete those orders. How do I do this?

Re: Deleting an order
The reason cancelled orders are not automatically deleted is a checks and balances for you as a business owner. Only those with Associate Authority can delete canceled order, but everyone can cancel an order. By leaving the canceled orders in there until you decide to delete all canceled orders allows you the opportunity to review the canceled orders and thus check to ensure your employees are not pocketing money and canceling orders to remove any traces of that order.
Prior to implementing the cancel orders which does not delete, but changes the status to canceled, there were 2 trophy shops that reported issues whereby one employee pocketed over $10,000 over a course of a year and another employee at another awards store got away with over $5,000 estimated in cash.
So to help business owners out, we changed the canceling of orders to leave the order in the system so the business owner or shop manager can review them before they are totally removed from the system.
