- Corrected a graphic glitch that was occurring when you went to mark an order picked up when there was a balance due on the order. The #Error that was showing up for the Balance due has been corrected to where the actual balance due is visible vs. the #Error text
- BizWizard now supports product images. When you add a new product or maintain a product, you can add a product image JPG file Simply Double click the default image to change it to the actual picture of what the product looks like. We recommend you use a high quality image file and only JPG images are supported. This image will be used in the online shopping cart in a future version of BizWizard that integrates with BizWizard ShopKart.
- Each Associate now has a reply to E-Mail address specified for their associate record. In system setup there is a new option on the Internet E-Mail Setup Tab to define whether you wish e-mails that are sent out to have a reply to address for the associate or the generic companies reply to address. You can change this option so that when an associate sends out an e-mail from within BizWizard, the reply to address will be set to that associate vs. to a generic company e-mail box.
- Added a new field to Maintain Order for Event Date. This field is purely informational only and is not required, and it does not impact any reporting in BizWizard. You can set this date and time if you wish just to have a simple place to record the event presentation date that the customer is presenting their awards or other products they are purchasing.
- Fax Number was not printing on printouts if there were 2 address lines for the company location address. This has been corrected on this release.
- Added a Pull down Menu to Company Name on Maintain Order. This is a quick way to default a new order from an old order. HOWEVER, it only will default billing address, city, state, zip, phone number and e-mail address. It will not perform the functionality that duplicate order performs, which is more robust.
- Moved the Order Description field to the bottom of the maintain order header and moved all other fields up, so that the Company Name field is the first field you enter. This may take some getting used to, but it seemed to flow much better since the company name is now a pull-down list.
- Corrected the calculation used for Daylight Savings Time for customers location. The customers location time should calculate correctly now and not be off by one hour.
- Corrected the Sales Tax Summarization report that was calculating incorrectly if you were using the Sales Tax reporting method of "When Invoice Balance is Zero" - THIS DID NOT EFFECT customers who used the sales tax reporting method of "When Invoice is Billed"
- Corrected a problem whereby when importing an XML order, the order line items were importing, however were not showing upon on the maintain order screen
- Added greyouts throughout BizWizard to help show which window is the active window. Greyed out windows are locked and full color windows are the windows currently with active focus.
- Release 6/12/2008 removed the greyouts as this new feature designed to give better focus on which window was active had a speed/performance degradation.
- Release 7/8/2008 corrected a permissions problem that occurred during the database upgrade process.
- Release 8/3/2008 corrected a speed issue when you clicked the "Done" button on the maintain order screen. Previously, it was taking 10 seconds to close down the maintain order screen. This modification reduces the time to close this screen to less than 1 second.
- 8/26/2008 corrected a speed issue on the maintain order screen that was causing the flickering white at the top of the screen.
- 11/24/2008 corrected the Enhanced SMTP sending of email using SMTPAUTH which passes the User ID and Password to the SMTP server to authenticate your authority to e-mail through that provider. If you previously could not send e-mails through your provider, you should be able to now.
- 11/24/2008 corrected an error whereby when an order was duplicated the unit cost overridden flag was not being duplicated. This did not effect any financial reporting.
- 11/24/2008 corrected an error whereby the final totals on a purchase order were not being recalculated when a purchase order line item was deleted.
- 11/24/2008 corrected an error that would occur when scheduling multiple attendees to a calender event and you selected yourself as one of those attendees. The current user logged on is automatically scheduled and thus no need to select yourself from the pull-down list when scheduling "additional" attendees. The fix removes the user currently logged on as one of the selectable values from the additional attendees list
- 11/24/2008 Corrected a problem on the 80 label price printouts whereby the 4th column of label was not printing.
