Re-ordering the Category List

I see that some ShopKart sites have their category list in a specific order while most are listed alphabetically. Is there a setting that I am missing to achieve the selected order or is this a custom request?

What some people have done is put a space at the beginning of the category name which will cause it to sort at the top of the list. So Lets assume you want to sort "Promotional Products" at the top of the category listing, simply add a single space character to the beginning of the category name. It will then sort at the top of the list.

We will be adding ability to create manual sort orders vs. using alphabetical as it is today, but this will be a future enhancement to the awards shopping cart program.
