Purchase Orders-with prices
I'm just starting to use the "build a PO" function. When I "order inventory" for an order that I need pieces for (and aren't actively tracking inventory), I don't know how much moeny I'm spending before I tell it to Build a PO. Since I try to order in volume for fre freight, it would be very helpful to be able to add my prices on those items at that point so I'd know how close I was to free freight and know if I really want to close the PO-

Hey Awardsguy, first congratulations on not being a "Junior Member" any longer. You can build a p.o. and then go into the pending p.o. and click on that manufacture p.o. and input your prices. If you are not ready to finalize the p.o. because you want to wait til you reach the free shipping, simply click done (do not finalize).
Then as you add more items through the "Order Inventory" and then Build a P.O. again. It will look for any p.o from those manufacturers that are still in a pending status and add the new items to the p.o.'s that are still open. You can then look at your pending status p.o.'s see the new items, add your pricing and see if you are ready to finalize the p.o.
Hope that helps
cheers

Purchase orders
Hi Guys,
I have the same problem, just started using the some of the vendor product numbers and rather than typing in the prices and descriptions every time, even if the order is not tracked it would be good to have them come up under the suppliers products when completing a vendors purchase order. Even when you build a special purchase order from the orders screen it does not take the line items forward to the vendor purchase order.
