As I am going through and seeing new options added, it makes me think of more things to add that I think would be helpful. Below are a couple more things I would like to see implemented in ShopKart.
Category External Link Field: Add another field to choose if the external link should open up in a new window, or in the existing window
Product Type Multiplier: In the product type, it would be nice to have a default price mark up field for each product type. Example in Acrylic Product Type the multiplier would be 4x. Then when I add a product that is an acrylic product type, when I enter the cost of the piece, then the retail price would automatically be 4x the cost price. I would also add the markup field in the product screen prefilled with the default mark up multiplier, but then if you still want to overide the mark up for that particular item you can.
Duplicate product to another store As I begin to use substores, it would be nice to duplicate at a minimum a product to another store, then I can ***ign it to the proper categories and give it the proper attributes
Vendor Part # It would also be nice to have a vendor part # field to input. Would not want to appear on the live site, but would be nice to have it appear on the order email. Make it an optional field, but would be nice to have so it cuts down on cross referencing if we use our own part numbers
Setup Charge Somehow allow for a setup charge per product or at a minimum per product type. If by product type, then allow override in product entry. Make it a one time charge added if a product is selected for purchase
