I think this would be a good idea, but I would like more discussion on it. Specifically from the user community I would like to know what information is being compared. Just pictures and prices?

The reason I pose this, is product comparisons are typically used in electronics to compare various features.

i.e.
Product A Product B Product C
Hard Drives 1TB 2TB 3TB
Memory 3GB 6GB 8GB
CPU Intel I3 Intel I5 Intel I7
Price $500 $700 $900

It is designed to compare similar items so you can see all on the same screen the different features of the electronic components.

how do we relate this to the awards industry.

Material Acrylic Acrylic Acrylic
Price $50 $75 $100

So I guess more specifically, what information are we going to compare amongst selected items?

Thanks Joe for the time you spent on the phone. Through our conversation we can provide something similar to a compare option like you see on computer retailer web sites. Probably in the form of "Favorites" so that has people are looking through the items, they can mark products as favorites, and then look at all the favorites on the same page.

This setup seems more appropriate for award products than a side by side comparison of items like one would find on computer retailer sites.
