Added functionality so that when you duplicate an order, any custom purchased orders that are attached to the order you are duplicating can also be duplicated. There is a new checkbox on the duplicate order screen that defaults to checked. If you uncheck mark this box, the custom purchase orders will not get duplicate along with the duplication process
When canceling an order. Any custom purchase orders that were attached to that order number are also deleted so long as that custom purchase order is in a Pending finalization status. Once a purchased order is finalized, deleting or canceling an order WILL NOT delete the purchase orders associated with it
From the Maintain Shipping Details screen while maintaining and order you can now add new or maintain shipping methods on the fly assuming you have appropriate authority.
From the Maintain Customer screen, you can now add new or maintain shipping methods on the fly assuming you have appropriate authority

If you are authorized to manage associates, you will see a button on the order comments screen that will allow you to clear all order comments. If you are not authorized, this button is not visible.
From the Maintain Order Screen, you can now add new or manage marketing codes on the fly, assuming you have appropriate authority.
Cleaned up some general aesthetics that do not affect functionality on the Maintain order screen.
Cleaned up some general aesthetics that do not affect functionality on the Maintain Customer Screen.
Throughout the system, the Maintain and Display Buttons have been removed. Instead to maintain an item, double click the yellow text area for the data record you wish to maintain or Display
Throughout the system, the bright yellows have been changed to a softer yellow to make it easier on the eyes
From the Maintain Order Screen, you can now add new or manage Stocking Incoming Bins, assuming you have appropriate authority
Previous to this version, the security checks that allow override of deposit requirement had a bug in it whereby anyone could override the deposit requirement. This has been corrected so that only those authorized to override the deposit requirement can do so.
Added capabilities for a supervisor to override pricing without having to logout the associate that does not have authority. If you see the unit price and unit cost fields with a red background, this means that it can be overridden; however it will require an Associate Name and Password of an associate that is authorized to override pricing.
You can now manage products and general ledger categories on the fly from the add invoice line item screen, assuming you have appropriate authority.
Corrected and on-event timer error that would occur when the system tried to check the internet time clock servers to gain accurate time. Previously if the internet time server was not accessible, it would give an error. This has been resolved.
When entering a coupon code to apply a discount from an order, you can now add new or manage coupon codes assuming you have authority.
Prior to this release and since release Version 3.0.4, under very certain circumstance, the sales tax summarization report was excluding transactions from the report in the interstate transaction reporting element. The condition under which this would occur is if all the following are true:

The shipping method was set to pickup/will-call
The billing address zip code for the order was an out of tax base zip code

In this scenario, the individual sales tax products were being excluded, and thus the sales tax summarization was reporting incorrectly. However, the general ledger summarization was correct. This release corrects this problem. As part of the correction, during the upgrade process, you are given the opportunity to determine whether you would like the upgrade process to automatically correct all the transactions in error. If you select, yes, the POS will make the corrections so that the sales tax report will accurately represent sales tax charged which can result in you needing to file amended tax returns and can potentially owe more to the state sales tax board. If you choose to not correct this problem, all prior sales tax transactions will remain unchanged and thus your General Ledger report and sales tax report will continue to be off for those months effected only. All future transaction reporting on the sales tax summarization will process correctly based upon the code change made in this release.
Corrected a problem on the maintain order line screen whereby the word count was excluding the first word at the beginning of a line after a carriage return. Word count is now accurate and carriage returns no longer effect the word counting function
Corrected a problem whereby on the maintain order line screen, if you double clicked in the personalization text and used the subsequent window to enter the personalization text, the word count was not updating. Now it updates appropriately
Added SMTP User Authentication option for those POS/CIS users that have Internet Providers that require User Authentication to send e-mail. By Default, Authentication is turned off. To Turn it on, go into System Setup and Internet E-Mail Setup and Select the SMTP Authentication Pull-Down List and change it to Authenticate. Be sure you put your User ID/Password as required to login to your SMTP Server with your ISP
Modified the E-Mail Template screens fonts so that entry of the template is in a non-proportional spaced font – the new font is Courier New which will allow you to better line up the text.
You can now change the order totaling section default text in System Setup. This allows you to define how you want the order totals section of receipts and invoices to appear. For instance, if you do not want the word “discount” showing, you may change this value in System setup. This change required modification to the following E-Mail Templates:

Order Acknowledgements
ProForma Invoices
Credit Card Authorizations
Customer Invoice

If you made any modifications to any of the above templates, you will need to re-modify them as your changes will be overwritten with this upgrade to reflect the new templates necessary to support the above mentioned text change
You can now change the sort order that the General Ledger Category Summarization report prints in. So you can re-arrange the order of the categories to fit your needs. A New field has been added to each category and sub-category called sort sequence. By default, each category is setup in multiples of 100 – if you wish a category with 400 sort sequence to sort before the category with 100 sequences, simply change the sort sequence number to any number between 1 and 99.
You can now e-mail customers directly from the maintain customer screen as well as attach files to the e-mail. In addition, you can attach files to individual invoices when you e-mail an invoice. All internet outbound e-mails, including invoices now record in the customer invoice history.
On Vendor Purchase Orders, we have moved the purchase order # to print before the account number and also put it white text on black background in hopes of making it stand out better to your vendors for when they received the purchase order.
In System setup you can define your ASI, PPAI and AIA numbers if you have any and also define whether or not they are to print on Purchase orders to vendors.
On the Maintain Supplier Purchase order screen, if the purchase order you are working with is specific to a customers order (i.e. is a Custom Purchase order for that specific order), then you will be able to double click the text that says “Specific to Order #: XXXXXXX” and this will bring up the associate Maintain Order screen for the order the purchase order is linked to.
