I have a number of requests dealing with the reporting features of the program. Some of them have to do with more information on the current reports, or changing the way the information is being presented, or getting information in reports that is not currently reported. I will list all below....

I agree with these suggestions. I would like to generate a report within a date range, whether for all orders or by salesperson. I don't like the restriction of "last 30 days" etc.

All Reports have date range selection criteria if a date range is applicable to that report.

Is this covered in the existing manual? With your help I was able to print a report of all jobs, but it only gave me options for 30 days, etc. Not a specific date range. I can't figure out how to do this.

I can't seem to select a date range to print an open sales report. For instance, I want a report for open orders from 8/20 - 8/31.
I also don't seem to be able to exclude quotes from open orders. How do I do this? When I ask for a report on open orders the system includes quotes.

The Print Work with Orders Listing prints exactly what is selected. Its a report printout based upon the selection criteria at the top of the work with orders. So you can select open order status, and select Last 30, 60, 90 days, etc. That will exclude quotes. It is not feasible to require a person to put in a date range on work with orders and is much quicker to select from a pull-down list of 30, 60, 90, etc. Takes less time to select one item from a pull-down list then to enter two complete dates. If you select 30 days, and sort by dates, then you will gain everything in the one week period you are looking for at the top of the list.

I believe all of these have been implemented as of Version 3.7.2. If there is anything missing, please let us know by starting a new thread on the forums.
